Tour Vancouver’s Award Winning/Seriously Green Building,
THE EXCHANGE, at 475 Howe St., on Friday Feb. 9 at 3.00pm.

Conference delegates have the opportunity to tour The Exchange, and see the transformation of Vancouver’s Old Stock Exchange built in 1911 into a 31-storey tour de force designed by Swiss architect Harry Gugger and developed by Credit Suisse and the Swiss Real Group, Canada. Winner of the Design of the Year Award from American Architecture Prize 2017, the building is Vancouver’s first LEED Platinum heritage conversion featuring significant energy saving technologies which result in 35% reduction in energy costs, 50% reduction in energy consumption and 85% reduction in CO2 emissions. The tour, led by members of the Rotary Club of Vancouver (Executives of Swiss Real Group and the building’s architects) will take place at 3.00 p.m. February 9th and will be limited to the first 50 delegates who sign up. There is no cost for this exciting opportunity to experience a seriously green building but the group is limited to 50 and pre-registration is required
