Maria Rodale, President and CEO, Rodale Industries
Maria Rodale is the CEO chairman of the board of Rodale Inc., a board member of the New York Restoration Project and a board member of the Mount Sinai Children’s Environmental Health Center for the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Over the years, Maria has been recognized for her work by major organizations. These include the National Audubon Society, who honored Maria with the Rachel Carson Award in 2004; and the United Nations Population Fund, whose Award for the Health and Dignity of Women was given to Maria in 2007. She is co-chair of the board at the Rodale Institute, a completely independent nonprofit working farm that conducts agricultural research, and she sits on the boards of Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project, the Pennsylvania Federal Reserve, and the Presidents United to Solve Hunger (PUSH) Advisory Board.
