Julia Roig, Attorney licensed in the state of Maryland
Julia Roig is an attorney licensed in the state of Maryland with twenty years of diverse international management experience. She is a substantive expert in Peacebuilding, Rule of Law, Good Governance, Access to Justice and International Conflict Resolution: M&E, systems design, strategic planning, cooperative advocacy, program management, community outreach and training. She is specialized in international networks and the evaluation of international assistance programs and impact assessments, having acted as team leader for complex international evaluations in over 20 countries throughout the world. Ms. Roig has served as the President of PartnersGlobal since 2008 (previously, Partners for Democratic Change).
She is a team-oriented, collaborative manager who currently provides technical and strategic leadership for the global network of 22 PartnersGlobal Affiliate Centers for Change and Conflict Management. Julia is a skilled mediator, facilitator and trainer and possesses superior oral presentation skills; expertise in facilitating professional briefings and educational courses for community members, attorneys, judges, local administrators, federal executives, corporate leaders and foreign ministers.
She has excellent professional writing experience; authored case studies, multi-country evaluation and assessment reports, articles, industry newsletters, and grant proposals. She previously served as the Chair of the International Section of the Association for Conflict Resolution and as a member of the Editorial Board of Conflict Resolution Quarterly. Julia is currently the Vice Chair of the board of d irectors of the Alliance for Peacebuilding. She has experience working and living abroad under USAID and World Bank contracts and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
